My hair taught me patience and consistency. I knew there were other black women who, like me, desired to learn how to care for their natural hair but didn’t know how to do it. I also started getting a lot of questions from people whenever I wore my hair out on how to care for their natural hair. So I started my blog, YouTube channel, and created a Facebook community called ‘4C Natural Hair Care & Tips’ which currently has 15,000+ black queens from all over the world as members where I consistently share natural hair tips and hacks.

After my contract at the radio station was over, I knew I didn’t want to stop connecting with amazing people and amplifying people’s stories and journies. But this time, I wanted it in a different form. I wanted a safe place for people from all walks of life, where they could share their stories without being judged and show their emotions without being ashamed. So I started the Calm Down Podcast which currently has a reach in 73+ countries with 50 episodes and counting. I’ve had the privilege to listen to and interview great humans. We’ve shared personal stories, cried, laughed and learnt great life lessons together.
